FAILURE IS INEVITABLE grew from a lifetime of experiences—in family, work, coaching, leadership, relationships, successes, failures, and starting again. No book can hold every story.

From the beginning, I tried very hard not to make this a Glen Tourville biography. I wanted the message to be universal—something readers could recognize in their own lives, not simply a collection of stories about mine. Because of that, there were stories I hesitated to include. Some felt too much about me and not enough about the larger message of the book.

This is a place for some of those stories.

Here I’ll share additional memories and reflections that didn’t make the printed pages. They may be more personal, but I believe there can still be something in them—a lesson, a thought, or simply a different way of looking at an experience—that might be useful in your own life.

Because in the end, these stories aren't really about what happened to me. They're about what experiences can teach us, how they can change us, and what we choose to do with what we've learned. That's the message at the heart of FAILURE IS INEVITABLE, and it's the reason I decided these stories were still worth sharing.
